Pour faire avancer le schmilblick,

Un utilisateur content avec cette puce, en gros, l'ouverture indiquée reste a 2.8.
Ca marche parfaitement il faut juste ajuster plus lentement lorsqu'on approche de la mise au point.
Dans ce cas le collimateur s'allume et le bip se fait entendre.
Ok avec 50 F1.4 et 500 F8

Actually with my f=1.4 lenses it works just perfect, I've even heard that it works with a mirror lens 500/8, although this chip always says to camera that an opened apperture is 2.8. So I just like it, now I have more time to make a composition not loosing a lot of time for precise focusing. And yes, you're right, it's necesary to turn a focus ring a bit slower when you're almost near focus point.

I think that before making any suppositions a suspicious person should read at least a documentation about Canon AF system

C'est vrai que ça vaut le coup de se prendre la tête pour trouver une solution pour la mise au point car les "bouses" sont encore très respectables. Pour exemple cette photo prise cette après midi avec un pentacon 4/300.
