Phoenix gave us a sneak preview of their new 650-1300mm f/8-16 zoom that has eight elements in five groups and is multi-coated to resist flare. The actual aperture size diminishes as you zoom to longer focal lengths, from f/8 at 650mm to f/16 at the long end. This is a fairly lightweight lens at 4.4 lbs and measures 4x18". It has a beige metal barrel that seems to be very sturdy. (Price not yet set. Requires optional T-mount adapter.)

Phoenix. The largest new lens that I found at photokina was the white Samyang/Phoenix 650-1300mm f/8, with conventional optics (eight elements in five groups); this is not a mirror (reflex) lens. Only limited information was available but this is a manual focus lens suitable for most any camera with a T-mount adapter. The minimum focus distance is 16' and filter size is 95mm. As you would imagine, this is not a small/lightweight lens (4x182", 70 oz) but its extreme reach should certainly appeal to some photographers
Donc, on r?sume, pas de miroir, ouverture f/8 ? f/16, seulement 2Kg  et besoin d'une bague adaptatrice...
