"et d'une qualité équivalente au 10-22"

Non, encore une fois non , le 10/22 n'as pas une qualité équivalente au 10/18 !
on va peut etre pas relancer le debat encore une fois....

je n'ai personnellement pas fait de comparatif entre les deux.

D'autres l'ont fait:

The Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM may be very slow but it is darn sharp in the relevant aperture range. In fact it is every bit as good as the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM here ... at half the price!

Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 STM IS - Lab Review / Test - Analysis

This lens has no competition. Every other ultrawide lens for Canon's APS-C cameras is optically inferior, can't focus as close, has no IS, and costs at least twice as much.
The only advantages to the bigger and optically inferior 10-22mmare that it has a direct mechanical manual focus override (the 10-18mm has instant manual override, but it's focus-by-wire), the 10-22mm has slightly less distortion, the 10-22mm has a metal lens mount and is 2/3 of a stop faster.
