AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE BEFORE INSTALLING 1.2

Just so we don't have another gripe fest in the event that LR 1.2 has some issues, here are some tips before you install:

1. Backup
2. Backup
3. Backup (in case you haven't realised, it's important that you have multiple backups of your system, the LR database and all your precious photos) - don't plead ignorance if something goes wrong.
4. I don't want to hear any posts from professional photographers claiming how much time they wasted with the upgrade with a critical deadline looming. If you have a critical deadline, then don't install it until you don't have a critical deadline. Chill out. Wait a while. See what others experience first. Have a less stressful time of it.
5. Backup (do you notice a theme going here?)
6. If you're not the most IT saavy, then wait a while - let all the IT guru's have a go at it first and see what issues pop up. If there are problems, they'll reported quickly and loudly on this forum, I'm sure.
